Here are some more shots from the shoot I did with Stephen Baker a couple of weeks ago. We had two looks, you will see the results from our first look in here. The dress you see here was created with a combination of lace and silk dupoin. I love the intricate details a dress, this one has lace appliqué in the skirt which had to be sewn on with tiny hand stitches. I am pretty happy with the results.
Also, wedding plans are coming along well! I have just finished the trial version of my wedding dress today and will very shortly be getting started on the real thing! So exciting, and nerve-racking at the same time!
Something I have been working on lately is getting more picture of dresses I’ve created, up on my website. So I organised a photo shoot with photographer Stephen Baker. He hadn’t really done any fashion photography before, he has been working on family, portraiture and weddings. But as you can see from these few shots, he’s pretty great. Hopefully I’ll be able to work with him again in the future.
What she wears above is a simple dress with a fitted bodice and floral print skirt. The skirt fabric is vintage, I love the apricot colours. She also wears a tule jacket with ‘petal’ edging. I wanted to create a soft fairy-like look. We also did a second look. I’ll post pictures of them soon.
